Gr 5-6 Camping Trip

The Gr 5-6 class went on a class camping trip for 3 days and 2 nights to French Beach.  It was an amazing adventure for both the kids and adults with day trips to Botanical Beach to explore the tidal pools.  The children were able to exercise independent skills by setting up camp, planning and cooking meals, cleaning up and organizing games and activities.  It was a wonderful opportunity for personal growth and skill development and a HUGE thank you is owed to their teacher, Mrs. Hutchet for her dedication and caring as well as VSIE principal Ginny Lovick and her husband Joe Truscott, who were the amazing and supportive adults that accompanied the kids and made this trip possible.
