Holiday Celebration

Our Holiday Celebration, which took place on the last day of school before winter break, was a festive and fun event.

Everyone in attendance was treated to a fantastic Bollywood dance, which was performed by the Gr 4-8’s.  The students spent the last several weeks meeting with their dedicated dance instructor, Viral, who taught them a lively choreographed routine, which they rose to the challenge of learning and performed with grace and enthusiasm.

Peformances by the younger students included singing carols, reading poetry they had written and playing on the keyboard.  After all the performances, the raffle basket draw took place and the happy winners were announced, after which a delicious selection of  refreshments was served by the Gr 7-8’s ( thanks to Mr.G for sharing his grandmother’s delicious recipe). All in all it was a wonderful morning and a great way to start the winter break.
