I’m Susie Back from Korea.
I guess you’re not familiar with my name but I think mrs.Lissamer does remember my twin siblings, Yun-Ji & In-Ho Back. My little sister, Yun-Ji asked me to find this website. She said she wants to see how’s her old school look like these days.
Whenever we(my family) look back on our old days spent in Canada, we thank this school so much. My parents and I say Victoria School for Ideal Education was perfect school for both of my siblings. They got plenty of care from the teachers and learned many things without getting stress of learning English. I hope VSIE keeps its school motto and can help kids like my little brother & sister and other kids who would like to learn more things more freely rather than just sitting infront of their desk everyday.
ps.Yun-Ji and In-Ho miss you a lot. They still have their school uniforms from VSIE and my parents has kept their work sheets and books they used at VSIE. I think you will be really surprised to see how much they’ve grown.
Hi . I am very interested in this for my daughter. She went to Montessori from age 3 to just recently. I am now a single mom and would love this opportunity for my daughter. Obviously there are a lot of stresses right now especially in a one parent home and as well as moving to a different city. I really am concerned for my daughter. I do not want her to get lost in the system. She is very bright and creative. Is their subsidy available? Can we come for a visit? I have to work, so will be missing the tea tomorrow.

We are interested in learning more about the school. We live in Vancouver but might be moving to Victoria in Sept. due to a job relocation. Our daughter is 8 and attends Pacific Spirit School in Vancouver and we are seeking a similar school in size and philosophy. We will be in Victoria on March 18 and might be able to meet with someone on that day in the afternoon.
Thanks for you inquiry! I looked at the website for Pacific Spirit School in Vancouver—it looks wonderful and yes, similar to VSIE. I will forward your message on to the teachers so that they can arrange for a visit. We are just about to post a short video that was filmed last week. Unfortunately we don’t have a senior campus…maybe one day! Our graduates have gone on to various middle schools—public and private schools—and have done well with the transition. I will ask one of the teachers to contact you. Perhaps you could arrange for a visit. Thanks for your interest!
