Level Ground Fundraiser

We are excited to kick-off our first fundraiser of the new year with a sale of Level Ground products! By participating in this fundraiser you will support a local business, help VSIE raise funds and take care of some of your grocery shopping!

Level ground is a local company that sells quality products that you may already buy!
Delicious coffee, wonderful teas, tasty dried fruits and spices, quality rice, coconut oil and cane sugar. All products are organically grown.

Level Ground Trading was established in 1997 by four families on Vancouver Island and they are still located in Saanichton! The company practices what VSIE teaches: fairness and sustainability! Level Ground trades fairly and directly with small-scale producers in developing countries. They go beyond paying a fair price to also invest social premiums in the farmer’s community, support sustainable environmental practices, promote independence, education, and positive work conditions. For a sneak peak at what is available, check out the level ground website here. PLEASE NOTE: prices listed on the website are higher than what we have negotiated for this fundraiser. Final prices are listed on the paper order sheets AVAILABLE FROM THE SCHOOL, in an envelope on the bulletin board across from the office. There is also an order form attached to this email. Cheques should be made out to VSIE.

Here are the fundraiser details:

1. Paper order forms will be available outside the office starting Monday, January 4. Prices are indicated on the order form. An average of 35% of each item you purchase will go towards VSIE.

2. Order deadline is Friday January 22nd. Payment can be made by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to VSIE.

3. Orders will be available for pick up at the school on/after Friday January 29th.

With this fundraiser, we are hoping to raise $500. Please feel free to forward this to any friends and family who may also want to participate!
